Fartcaster

Audio publishing meets memetic product design

Fartcaster Interface

ROLE

Solo Product Builder / Vision to Execution

APPROACH

  • Started from identifying a gap in Farcaster's native capabilities for audio content
  • Used wordplay and humor as entry point while building serious infrastructure underneath
  • Worked across full product spectrum: vision, design, development and content
  • Leveraged modern AI tools to accelerate workflow and execution
  • Built real application with Base blockchain integration for audio tokenization

OVERVIEW

Fartcaster was a personal challenge.

A fully solo built project, developed end to end as a way to test my ability to take an idea from zero to one hundred, from concept to a real and functional product that could be shared with peers and people from the industry.

The starting point was simple. Farcaster did not support native audio publishing. From there, the Farcaster / Fartcaster wordplay naturally emerged, using humor as an entry point to explore a new expressive layer.

Instead of stopping at the joke, I decided to turn it into a system. Fartcaster became a real application that allows users to record, publish and tokenize audio using Base as the underlying blockchain infrastructure. Humor acts as the interface, not the limitation.

This project was also a way for me to work across the entire product spectrum, from vision and design to development and content, while updating my workflow with modern AI tools. The result was a product solid enough to be presented at Devconnect Argentina in November 2025.

Fartcaster was not built to optimize KPIs or chase growth metrics. It was built as an experiment in product thinking, identity and execution.
